COMMON FAQ
How do I make a booking?
You can book with us by call, text, or via Whatsapp reception at +61 468 003 221. Please note, we do not accept anonymous calls. If our reception is busy, simply send us a text and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Are bookings mandatory?
Yes—appointments are required at this time, especially if you’d like to see a specific Fetish Practitioner or prefer a later session. We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Each day we have different Mistresses available, so please contact us via TEXT or Whatsapp and we’ll let you know when your preferred Mistress is in-house. You’re also welcome to share your particular requests, and we’ll be happy to recommend the best fit for you.
Can I book a session outside of a Fetish Practitioner’s rostered hours?
Yes, sessions outside rostered hours are possible but require a minimum 1-hour session and a $100 deposit. If you fail to show up, the deposit is forfeited to the Fetish Practitioner.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
Cancellations must be made by phone with at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a credit for a future session. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or don’t show up, you may be charged a cancellation fee or forfeit your deposit.
Do I need to confirm my booking?
Yes, all bookings must confirmed on the day of the session. We will text or call you to confirm the session. If you don’t confirm, your session time may be given to another client. If you’re unable to confirm on the day, inform the reception when booking.
What happens if I’m running late?
If you’re running late, call to inform the Manager. A 10-minute grace period is allowed, but if you’re later without notification, your booking may be cancelled and given to another client. Lateness will eat into your session time!
Can I meet a Fetish Practitioner without committing to a session?
Yes, you can book an Introductory Consultation for $100. This fee is deducted from your session cost if you proceed with a session immediately or at a later date.
What are the payment options?
Cash is preferred, but EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa, and AMEX are accepted with 5% surcharge for card payments. Payment is typically made during the pre-session discussion in the waiting room with the receptionist on hand. We also accept cash, BEEM or Bank Transfer.
What if I change my mind about the Fetish Practitioner after arriving?
Changing your mind after arriving is considered a cancellation, and a $100 cancellation fee may apply, as the Fetish Practitioner may have declined other bookings for your time slot.
How much time is allocated for pre-session discussions?
A 10-15 minute pre-session discussion is included to negotiate boundaries and session details. Additional time may incur fees or reduce session time. PLEASE NOTE This is allocated into your session time.
Can I session while under the influence of alcohol or drugs?
No, sessions under the influence are dangerous and may be restricted or refused. Any intoxication that impairs judgment or exceeds legal driving limits is not permitted. This is because we cannot obtain consent.
How should I communicate via email?
Keep emails brief and to the point. Excessive or detailed emails may incur fees or go unanswered. For urgent matters, talk to Reception and speak with the reception or Fetish Practitioner directly.
What is expected during the session?
Clear communication is key. Use your safe word (Green, Amber, Red) or speak up if you’re uncomfortable. The Fetish Practitioner will discuss the session afterward to address feedback or plan future sessions.
How can I leave feedback?
You can submit a testimonial for your Fetish Practitioner, using your first name or initial for anonymity. Contact the Reception to share your feedback.
What should I disclose before a session?
You must inform the Fetish Practitioner of any injuries, phobias, heart conditions, or other physical/medical issues (past or present) before the session begins. This is a legal and moral obligation to ensure safety, and Red Room is not liable for unreported health issues.
What are the safe words used during a session?
Red Room uses a traffic light system:
-
Green: Continue or intensify the activity ("please don't stop" or "harder please").
-
Amber: Approaching your limit; the Practitioner will proceed cautiously.
-
Red: Stop the current activity immediately. If gagged, use pre-agreed grunts or gestures to communicate.
Can I bring my own equipment for a session?
Yes, you may bring your own equipment. You’ll need to show the Fetish Practitioner the items you plan to use before the session.
Are there any rules about behavior during a session?
You’re expected to be respectful, communicate clearly, and use safe words if needed. Rude, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior (e.g., unconsented touching or lewd acts) is prohibited and may result in being reported to the police.
What happens if I want a heavier or more intense session?
For heavy or intense play, especially without a safe word, you’re engaging in Risk Aware Consensual Kink (RACK). You may be required to sign a disclaimer to acknowledge potential risks, protecting Red Room from liability. We may ask you to record a video of your consent and that the Red Room will not be liable for any injuries during the session.
Can I request specific services or activities?
You can discuss specific services during booking or pre-session negotiation, but availability depends on the Fetish Practitioner’s discretion and boundaries. Check the Rates page for general pricing, noting that fees vary as Practitioners are independent contractors. A positive rapport can enhance the likelihood of accommodating your requests.
What if I’m new to BDSM or fetish sessions?
First-timers are welcome! You can also book an Introductory Consultation ($100) to discuss your interests without committing to a full session.
Are there limits on email communication?
Yes, to manage time, Fetish Practitioners may limit responses to two brief emails. Lengthy or overly detailed emails may incur fees or go unanswered. Avoid soliciting intimate details or sending repetitive emails, as these may be considered trolling and ignored.
Can I volunteer or participate in events at Red Room?
Yes, you can volunteer for public events, ladies’ afternoon tea parties, or tasks like cleaning or cooking. Submit your name and contact details to the Manager, who will provide an application form via email.
